News Flash • Frederick Police Announce 2023 Release

The Frederick Police Department is proud to announce the release of its 2023 Annual Report. This comprehensive document highlights the department’s accomplishments, initiatives and strategic advancements over the past year, reflecting FPD’s continued commitment towards transparency, trust and excellence in public safety.

In 2023, FPD responded to 105,851 service calls, demonstrating commitment to efficiency and professionalism. The department’s workforce includes 155 police officers, supported by more than 50 communications specialists, records and evidence technicians and administrative staff.

As we move forward, FPD remains committed to finding innovative ways to support and protect our community and staff. The 2023 Annual Report not only celebrates our past achievements, but also serves as a model for future efforts.
