MACLEA Announces New President, Endicott College Chief Kerry Ramsdell

The Massachusetts Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (MACLEA) is pleased to announce that a new Board of Directors has been selected, with Endicott College Leader Kerry Ramsdell accepting the role of President.

Ramsdell, police chief and director of public safety at Endicott College, holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Salem State and a master’s degree in education from Endicott College, as well as significant professional training as a law enforcement official, including FBI-LEEDA. She has over 15 years of experience in campus law enforcement and has successfully risen through the ranks of the Endicott College Police Department to her current position as Chief.

Chief Ramsdell is an active member of the Massachusetts Chief of Police Association (MCOPA), the Massachusetts Association of Women in Law Enforcement (MAWLE), the Essex County Chiefs of Police Association (ECCOPA) and a member of the Safety and Security Committee. of MCOPA’s school safety.

She is the proud mother of two young boys and resides on the North Shore of Massachusetts with her loving husband Chris.

This is Chief Ramsdell’s first term as a member of the MACLEA Board of Directors.

In addition to the appointment of Chief Ramsdell as MACLEA President, elections to the Board of Directors were also held and Vice President Capt. Mark Roche of Tufts University, Chief Secretary Erin Carcia of Babson College and Bentley University Lt. Treasurer David Wade, all of whom served these positions in the last term, were reappointed.
