Get Ready for Bloom Health Expo 2024

TAMPA (FLOWER) – Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 13, as the Bloom Health Expo 2024 will take place at the AdventHealth Training Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This event promises a day filled with health, wellness and fun, with more than 50 vendors and a variety of free health screenings available until 2:30 p.m.

Health Screenings Available:

• Blood donation: Give the gift of life by donating blood.
• Arterial pressure: Make sure your heart is healthy with a quick check-up.
• Blood sugar: Get information about your glucose levels.
• Cholesterol: Understand your cholesterol numbers and what they mean for your heart health.
• BMI (Body Mass Index): Learn about your body composition and healthy weight range.
• CPR courses: Learn life-saving skills with CPR training.
• Mammography screenings: Mammograms will also be available. These aren’t free, but they will charge for insurance or you can opt for a self-pay option. We encourage pre-registrations, but walk-ins will also be accepted. For more information and to pre-register, visit this link.

Special activities:

• Lifeguard Imaging Challenge: From 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., test your skills in the kicking challenge for a chance to win Buccaneers tickets.
• AdventHealth Combine Challenge: Participate in various physical challenges to test your fitness.

Welcome and meeting:

• Gayle Guyardo: Meet our beloved host Gayle Guyardo in person!
• News Channel 8 presenters and reporters: Say hello and spin the wheel for a chance to win exciting prizes.
• Captain Fear and the Bucs Cheerleaders: Take a photo with the Buccaneers mascot and cheerleaders between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Fun and interactive:

• Kickin’ It Challenge with Martín Gramática: Join Buccaneers Hall of Fame player Martín Gramática from noon to 2 p.m. and learn how to score a field goal like a pro.
• Green Screen Experience: Stand in front of the Bloom Health Expo branded green screen to pretend you’re a meteorologist. Fans can stand in front of Max Defender, our radar map, and have the video delivered straight to their email. One of our meteorologists will be there to show you how to present the weather like a true professional!
