Rishi Sunak told to ‘relax, boy’, after calling Just Stop Oil’s Stonehenge stunt a ‘disgrace’

Just Stop Oil has asked Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to “relax, boy”, on social media after he branded the activist group a “disgrace” following their latest stunt at Stonehenge.

Two environmental activists covered Stonehenge in orange powder paint on June 19 in the group’s latest action.

Just Stop Oil’s Met Office within the next 48 hours.

This means the solstice at Stonehenge will be ruined by one of the Seven Wonders of the Medieval World being covered in orange paint, which is what the group intended to do.

Two people were arrested on site.

This action sparked an outcry on social media, notably from leaders of the Conservative and Labor parties, to whom Just Stop Oil responded directly.

Sunak tweeted: “Just Stop Oil is a disgrace. »

Just Stop Oil replied: “Relax, boy. The cornstarch will disappear even faster than you get out of number 10. Which is saying something. »

The group also targeted Sir Keir Starmer.

Starmer tweeted: “The damage to Stonehenge is outrageous. Just Stop Oil is pathetic. Those responsible must face the full force of the law.”

Just Stop Oil responded: “We are responsible for our actions. When will the oil and gas executives responsible for destroying the lives of millions face the full force of the law?
