The Ghost Inside Cancel North America Fall Tour

Bad news for fans of The ghost withinwhen the band announced the cancellation of their upcoming North American fall tour with Gideon, Orthodox and Of Virtue. The news came earlier today when The Ghost Inside announced it social mediaciting the exhaustion of their current international tour, saying:

“Hey gang, we’re heading into the last few shows of this Euro run, and it’s been absolutely amazing! We are so grateful to be able to travel the world and share this music with you.

“But. The last eight weeks of international touring have taken a much greater toll on us than we anticipated. Our physical health, mental health and family life are telling us that entering another month on the road is more than we can handle right now and we are sorry We are very sorry to say that we will not be going ahead with the upcoming US tour. We hope you understand that making such a decision stinks and leaves many people disappointed, but for the good of us as individuals and as a band. In the long run this is the right thing to do Refunds for the affected shows are available at the time of purchase.

“Shout out to Gideon and Of Virtue who committed to this with us months ago, and to Orthodox who only got into the mix weeks ago. Please support these bands’ merchandise stores and everything they are trying to do during this time.

“We’ll still see you at Christmas Burns Red to end this year in epic fashion. Thank you for being patient with us, we love you and we’ll see you soon. <3 TGI”

I can completely understand wanting to prioritize your own physical and mental health. For the sake of my own physical and mental health, I wouldn’t want to write stories about metal the day after the United States made an extremely stupid decision, but yet here we are.
