Brandy Confronts Her Racist Stepmother in ‘The Front Room’ Trailer

The boy belongs to Brandy – and so does revenge in the thrilling new trailer for her upcoming horror film The front room.

Unlike anything you’ve ever seen from the recording artist, The front room stars Brandy as a young mother-to-be who, after the death of her husband’s father, agrees to let her racist and potentially demonic mother-in-law come from hell (Poor things star Kathryn Hunter) are moving into their house.

Things quickly become problematic and violent for the duels, who argue over everything from the correct pronunciation of her name (my name is “Belinda!” Brandy screams as Hunter crawls on the ground to get away from her. “Belinda!”) until Hunter’s character. take over the room intended for the couple’s impending baby.

Eventually, the elderly woman soon brings a group of friends to invade the house as well, causing Belinda’s world to collapse – until she starts fighting back.

Based on the short story of the same name by writer Susan Hill, The front room was written and directed by Max and Sam Eggers, the brothers of The witch, LighthouseAnd The Northerner helmsman Robert Eggers.
