The Rage Room is coming to Abilene

In times of stress, a mental break is sometimes enough to decompress.

For those who need something more – convenient – ​​The Mental Break will soon open in downtown Abilene.

Mental Break, 813 Hickory St., will host a grand opening event July 12.

Rage Room’s mission is to help release inner emotions in a safe environment by smashing an assortment of objects without cleaning.

They offer a variety of packages to book, whether it’s a solo rage, a family binge, or an event.

Prices range from $25 to $40 per person. Event pricing starts at $200.

All participants must sign a waiver before entering the rage room.

Children ages 8-17 are allowed to participate, but a parent or legal guardian must be present.

There is a required dress code to keep attendees safe, so make sure you are dressed appropriately before heading to the rage room. Everyone must wear closed shoes and it is advisable to wear comfortable pants and a long-sleeved shirt.

Although the Rage Room is a source of entertainment and temporary stress relief, The Mental Break makes a point of emphasizing that it does not replace or solve mental health issues.
