NEET UG 2024 Live Updates: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the NEET UG 2024 results on June 4, 2024, ten days ahead of schedule. This caused a stir since it revealed 67 rank 1 holders from all over India, which was unusual, and since then concerns have been raised regarding the distribution of grace marks as well as the integrity of the review with reports of paper leaks. The National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) has been criticized for its integrity in choosing candidates for undergraduate medical seats. NEET is currently supervised by the autonomous National Testing Agency (NTA) of the Ministry of Education.

Petitions to quash the exam were quickly filed in the Supreme Court and several High Courts, citing alleged leaks and anomalies. Facing growing criticism, the NTA and the government canceled the grace points and announced arrangements for a re-examination on June 23 for the 1,563 candidates who had lost examination time. Some petitioners also demanded an investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation. The Supreme Court is expected to meet on July 8, 2024 to deliberate on the possible cancellation of NEET 2024.
