Sai Reddy absent from Jagan’s review meeting!

YSR Congress Party president and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday held a meeting with the contested candidates in the state Assembly and recently held Lok Sabha elections in his Tadepalli camp office.

The meeting was supposed to bring together the 175 candidates who participated in the parliamentary elections and 25 candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. It was not immediately clear if any YSRCP candidates skipped the meeting.

However, a notable absentee was YSRCP general secretary V Vijay Sai Reddy, who contested the Lok Sabha elections from Nellore parliamentary constituency.

Investigation revealed that Sai Reddy had deliberately avoided attending the extended party meeting despite prior notice from the party.

He would be busy with some personal commitments in Hyderabad.

There were reports that Sai Reddy was unhappy ever since he was sidelined by Jagan within the party.

He was recently removed as leader of the YSRCP parliamentary party and was confined to the role of party leader in the Rajya Sabha.

He was replaced by YV Subba Reddy as the parliamentary party leader, who will have a separate chamber in Parliament, and all other party MPs will follow his instructions.

It is learned that Sai Reddy is planning to join the Bharatiya Janata Party sooner or later to safeguard his political and business interests.
