Liverpool consider French midfielder after talks confirming Ligue 1 player

Liverpool would now be genuinely interested in Youssouf Fofana after the opening of the summer transfer window.

This comes from CaughtOffside, with the outlet claiming the Frenchman is being “considered” ahead of a planned departure from Monaco this summer.

The Merseysiders could, however, face some competition from rivals Arsenal. The Gunners have reportedly sent scouts to observe the Frenchman, while Manchester United reserved some interest for the previous summer window.

Fabrizio Romano confirmed last night that Liverpool remain involved in the race to sign Leny Yoro.

Real Madrid are categorically the favorites, although it is unclear whether Los Blancos will follow through on their reported interest.

It seems unlikely, in our opinion, that Carlo Ancelotti’s side would be willing to let a potential generational talent slip through their fingers.

If there is a chance of Yoro slipping through the cracks, then of course we should look at the 18-year-old defender.
