In Budva, we know who are the criminal structures that were involved in various ways in political processes and wanted to take power in our city, said the Chairman of the Budva Municipal Assembly (SO) and title holder ” Budva our city.” ” list, Nikola Jovanović.

“These are the criminal structures that emerged after the arrest of Milo Bozović. These structures wanted to take power in Budva through a number of advisors,” Jovanović said.

In the program “Last Week” on A Plus television, Jovanović addressed the topic of the detention of Budva Municipality President Milo Božović, stating that the information that he bought votes for the Party Democratic Socialists (DPS) is not correct.

“Božović denied buying votes for the DPS. I have known him for quite a long time, he has a serious anti-DPS opposition record, he has been in politics for a very long time and fought against the DPS, so that the information is really not correct,” he said. Jovanovic.

There is no cooperation with NSD, SNP under the influence of criminal structures

Commenting on the election results in Budva, Jovanović said he is optimistic about the formation of the government in this coastal city and he is convinced that there will be no new elections.

“We are certainly ready to adopt this option and we look forward to new elections,” he said.

He recalled that July 7 is the deadline for holding the constitutive session and verifying mandates.

He repeated on which political issues he would not cooperate and also said that after the elections informal discussions took place on the formation of the government.

“Usually calculations are made after the elections, but that does not exist here. We will not negotiate with the NSD and DPS, but we talked with the Democrats. There was enough speculation after the elections, and what is certain is that our list won the greatest number of mandates and this gives us the electoral legitimacy to form the government. Due to the tourist season which is in full swing in Budva, the government should be established in. the legal deadline,” Jovanović said.

Speaking about cooperation with the Socialist People’s Party (SNP), Jovanović said that immediately after the informal talks they remained silent. He claims that it is the influence of criminal structures in Budva.

“I don’t think their independent action in Budva has anything to contribute. They will be guided only by their interests, but in Budva they don’t have much freedom, so I think they will listen to what the criminal structures and the authorities will tell them,” concluded Jovanović.

The Budva Municipal Election Commission (MEC) previously announced the final results of the local elections held in Budva on May 26, according to which the electoral list “Budva our city – Nikola Jovanović” received the support of 2,671 voters, or 23, 91 percent and won nine terms.

The formation of the government requires the support of 17 councilors out of a total of 33 in the Budva parliament. Jovanović considers the Democrats, SDP and URA as coalition partners, as well as the Democratic People’s Party (DNP) and the Socialist People’s Party (SNP), which, within the coalition led by Mikijelj (NSD), each have won two terms on the council.
