Bear attacks Tennessee theme park worker in viral video

A wild bear and a Tennessee theme park employee appeared to scare each other Thursday, when the two nearly collided in a dangerous encounter caught on video.

The animal managed to make its way into a concession stand at Anakeesta, a theme park in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, when an employee approached the stand from behind, apparently unaware of the animal’s presence. ‘bear.

In a now-viral video uploaded to TikTok, people outside the stand can be heard watching the bear rummage through the food station.

“Look at him, he’s drooling, he loves this gumbo,” one person can be heard joking in the clip.

But just as the bear turns to leave, the worker approaches with a large jar containing what we can only assume is still okra, and the creature quickly lunges at her with its paws in the air.

After frantically dropping the pot and spilling its contents, the employee ran away, only to quickly turn around and sneak into the cubicle where the bear was, closing the door behind her.

The woman, whose identity has not been publicly released, then refused medical attention when first responders arrived on the scene, a city representative told TMZ.

The bear is believed to have fled the area and is still on the loose.
