Albany duo face drug charges after traffic stop

Two Albany men face drug charges after a traffic stop Wednesday.

Officers stopped a vehicle on Hillcrest Avenue driven by Amin E. Williams, 29, for a traffic violation. Police found criminal-sized drugs inside the vehicle, they said. Passenger Michael Moore allegedly had an additional controlled substance.

Williams and Moore, 27, were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance.

They were arraigned in Green Island Municipal Court and released on their own recognizance.
