Ex-raider who killed Las Vegas woman and dog in fiery crash moved into temporary housing

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The former Las Vegas Raiders player convicted of killing a Valley woman and her dog in a crash moved into temporary housing.

25-year-old Henry Ruggs before worked in the governor’s mansion as part of his DUI sentence. He has now been moved to Casa Grande Transitional Housing, according to Nevada Department of Corrections records.

The onetime first-round NFL draft pick was sentenced to a minimum of three years and a maximum of 10 years in prison on August 9, 2023, after agreeing to plead guilty to a pair of charges.

The former wide receiver was reportedly driving as fast as 155 mph with a blood alcohol level twice the legal limit when his Chevrolet Corvette struck and killed Tina Tintor in her Toyota RAV4 in the early morning of November 2, 2021.
