Arburg announces change in its management team

On September 1, Tobias Baur will take over as head of sales and after-sales management at Arburg, succeeding Gerhard Böhm, who is retiring.

Baur comes to Arburg from the Trumpf Group, where he most recently served as Global Director of Sales and Marketing. Responsibilities included product management and international sales of the services business. As Managing Director from 2014 to 2019, he was responsible for establishing the Trumpf additive manufacturing division in Ditzingen, Germany, and Schio, Italy.

With the arrival of the new Managing Director, Arburg’s management team will now consist of Managing Partners Michael and Juliane Hehl, as well as Tobias Baur; Guido Frohnhaus, technology and engineering; and Steffen Kroner, finance, management control, IT and human resources management.
