Prince Harry could soon be heading north of the Wall, but it’s not just to meet his new niece: rumor has it he’s been offered a guest appearance on the hit TV series, Game Of Thrones.

The 30-year-old royal has been approached by HBO bosses to appear in the sixth series, but is yet to decide whether he will accept the opportunity.

“Harry was offered an appearance in the sixth series of Game Of Thrones, which begins filming this summer in Northern Ireland,” a source told the Daily Star newspaper. “At the moment, he has not made a decision but the offer is on the table. There are plenty of opportunities for him to step into a role.”

Like us, Harry is reportedly already a big fan of the series – so it seems likely he’ll give it some serious consideration. However, he is unsure whether he will be able to commit to the role due to his busy schedule of royal commitments.

“The show is huge and there are a lot of stars lining up to appear,” the source said. “But the creators won’t give one to just anyone. Harry is a huge fan and loves the show. Having him on TV would be TV gold.”

Let’s hope Harry doesn’t meet the girl of his dreams before taking on the role – not only would he break our hearts, but he’d also have even less time for an appearance.

“There come times when you think it’s time to settle down, or it’s not, whichever way it happens, but I don’t think you can force these things, it will happen when it happens,” he told Sky News. Monday.

“Of course, I would love to have children now,” he said. “But there is a process you have to go through.”
