Kristen Wiig as Aunt Linda

“It was based on a woman I was on a plane with,” Wiig said of the character. “They showed The matrix …she was so confused. “She had no idea what was going on. She had her headphones on and I could just hear her say, ‘Whhhaaaaaatt??!’

Wiig added, “I was literally writing down what she was saying. She was so angry and confused about what was happening. I was like, ‘Oh my God, I wish I could film this lady .'”

In defense of this woman, The matrix It was really confusing. And it only got worse.

THE Bridesmaids star/co-writer debuted Aunt Linda in a November 2006 episode of SNL and the character made six appearances during his time on the show (one of the best shows, TBH).

Wiig currently plays in Royal Palm on Apple TV+ and knowing Aunt Linda… she’s probably not a fan.
