City of Cedar Falls announces Independence Day hours

City Hall, the Hearst Arts Center, the Cedar Falls Public Library, the Cedar Falls Community Center, the Cedar Falls Recreation and Fitness Center and the Cedar Falls Tourist Site will all be closed on 4th July. The Falls public pool will remain open.

Access to information in the Visitor Center brochure hall is available all year round. Municipal offices will be closed on July 4. Residents who have July 4 as their collection day must drop off their trash by 7 a.m. on July 3.

The solid waste transfer station and recycling center will be closed on July 4. Both facilities will reopen on July 5. Questions regarding waste collection can be directed to the Public Works Department at (319) 273-8629 between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. p.m.
