The case continues for the Jackson man who shot two men in August.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) – The assault and battery case against a Jackson, Missouri man continues in Cape Girardeau County District Court.

26-year-old Jac’quez Jackson appeared at a preliminary hearing on Wednesday afternoon, November 6, where a judge referred his case to the court.

Jackson is charged with assault, two armed crimes and two other weapons offenses.

He is accused of shooting two men on Aug. 19 in the 200 block of S. Pacific Street in Cape Girardeau.

Jackson remains in the Cape Girardeau Co. Jail without bond.
