Quakertown native Sabrina Carpenter is returning to her roots. The pop sensation announced that her headlining arena tour, “Short n’ Sweet,” will include a stop in Philadelphia, Emily Bloch for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The tour, named after her upcoming sixth album, kicks off on September 23 and spans North America and Canada.

Carpenter, 25, has seen a meteoric rise in the pop music scene, with hits like “Espresso” and standout performances at Coachella and Gov Ball.

This tour marks a special homecoming for Carpenter, who was born in Bucks County and homeschooled in Montgomery County before moving to Los Angeles at 13 to pursue her career.

Carpenter’s Philadelphia performance is set for October 8 at the Wells Fargo Center. Joining her on the “Short n’ Sweet” tour are openers Amaarae, Griff, and Declan McKenna. For the Philly show, Afropop and R&B singer Amaarae will open.
