Silent marches held to call for an end to gun violence in GH and Muskegon

(Grand Haven, Mich.) — Silent marches took place Saturday across West Michigan to call for an end to gun violence. Valerie Martin is an organizer for gun violence prevention efforts and says she hopes change will happen, but admits it won’t be easy.

“This is an important event for every place in Michigan because there is truly no place where gun violence cannot be found.”

Valerie Martin helped organize silent marches against gun violence in Grand Haven and Muskegon Heights.
