Kenshi Yonezu announces his new album “LOST CORNER”

Kenshi Yonezu is set to release his highly anticipated sixth studio album, titled LOST PLACEexpected August 21. The project will be the J-pop hitmaker’s first album in four years since his previous set, SHEEP ERRORS.

All versions of the new album will include many of the singer-songwriter’s recent hits, such as “Sayonara Mata Itsuka!” » (featured as the theme song of the NHK morning television series Tora ni Tsubasa)“Garakuta” (the theme of the film Last milewhich will be released in theaters nationwide this summer), “Spinning Globe” (the theme from the Academy Award-winning animated feature The boy and the heron, directed by Hayao Miyazaki of Studio Ghibli), “Moongazing” (the theme of the game Final Fantasy XVI), “LADY” and “Every Day” (featured in Coca-Cola Japan’s “Georgia” commercials), “KICK BACK” (Chainsaw man first song, the first Japanese-language song to be certified gold by the RIAA), “M87” (the theme from the film Shin Ultraman), “POP SONG” (featured in PlayStation commercials), and “Pale Blue” (the theme of the drama series Rikokatsu).

The album CD will be available in four different versions: the first special limited edition “Garakuta” with merchandise attached to the CD, the first limited edition “Visuals” supplied with a Blu-ray or DVD with the CD, and the standard edition.
