Shaboozey Announces Where I’ve Been, Is’t Where I’m Going Fall Tour Dates

Someone pours him a double shot of whiskey – Shaboozey is going on tour!

On Monday (June 24), the rising country star announced the first leg of her headlining fall tour in support of her latest studio album. Where I’ve been is not where I’m going.

The artist pre-sale will begin on Tuesday, June 25 at 10 a.m. local time. A TikTok presale will begin on Wednesday, June 26 at 10 a.m. local time. General ticket sales begin Friday, June 28 at 10 a.m. local time at https://americandogwood.com/tour.

Earlier this month, Shaboozey, 29, opened up to PEOPLE about his recent career milestones in a feature on Beyoncé’s show. Cowboy Carter to his hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy)”.

“I’ve been doing music for so long, I’ve put a lot of time and years into it,” Shaboozey (real name Collins Chibueze) said at the time. “I’ve invested so much into it that I feel like it’s just cool to see it work. Everyone hopes it works. Seeing it actually work is unreal.

“It seems like a dream,” he added. “I feel like I’m definitely going to wake up at some point and be like, ‘Damn, was that a dream?'”

The country singer also explained that the title of his third studio album, Where I’ve been is not where I’m going, means it’s “good to look back on where you came from” but “what’s more exciting is your future.”

“As human beings, we have the free will and autonomy to lead our lives in the direction we choose. It’s pretty much in the title. I wish I had something more metaphorical,” he joked.

Through this album, he hoped the album would showcase his versatility as a musician with a blend of country, Americana, and hip-hop.

“It would be cool for people to just see the person, see their versatility and their palate,” he said. “I want people to look at this and listen to it and say, ‘Man, what was he inspired by when he created this thing?’ I’m excited, man. Because no one can ever predict what the next thing will look like for me. So I think they will be surprised by this one.
