Joe Rogan is shocked by how quickly ‘Hawk Tuah’ girl blew up

Joe Rogan is both shocked and delighted that the “Hawk Tuah” girl is going viral thanks to a brief interview clip that surfaced earlier this month.

In a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, the podcast host discussed the featured woman’s viral success in a brief on-the-street interview in Nashville with content creators Tim and Dee TV. “What is the move in bed that drives a man crazy every time?” she was asked in the infamous clip. “Oh, you have to do that ‘hawk tuah’ thing and spit on that thing, do you understand me?” she replied.

Rogan says it’s clips like this that he loves to see go viral. “I love moments like this, where a weird video is so funny the whole world sees it,” he shared, as seen in the video above. “Especially the way she says it. She’s not pretending.” He suggested she might even have “a black belt in spitting on dicks.”

The woman, since identified as Hailey Welch, became an overnight viral sensation after the video began circulating earlier this month. “She’s probably freaking out,” Rogan said of her newfound success. Her guest, comedian Brian Simpson, said she has since partnered with clothing brand Fathead Threads to sell merchandise.

“Oh, I have to buy a shirt,” Rogan added. “I wonder how much money she’s making from this? Is it smart that she jumped on it, because you have to think it’s only been a few days. … She’s about to make TikTok videos, just sitting there with a cup of coffee on the porch, like ‘let me tell you something, this is real.'”
