Temu’s Order Mistake Makes Buyer Laugh Over Unexpected ‘Dirty Word’ on Decorations

When searching for party favors on popular shopping app Temu, double-checking photos might save you a laugh or two.

Chelsea Edwards, known for her @chelseaedwards_13 posts, discovered a funny mistake after her mother received a £3 order of Hawaiian-themed party decorations. A phrase on the mug’s stickers, intended for his mother’s 50th birthday celebration, proved to be a source of unexpected hilarity.

Sharing a video that has garnered more than 12,000 likes, she quips: “When your Temu order goes wrong.” She further elaborates, “My mom is having a Hawaiian themed birthday party. We have these stickers for the cups.”

The stickers go with the theme, emblazoned with phrases like “Tiki-Time,” “Aloha” and “Hawaii.” Fun ensued when a sticker read “Let’s Flaminge”, causing them to burst out laughing due to its phonetic similarity to a slang term for women’s private parts.

This comical mishap also amused TikTok users, who expressed their amusement in the comments section. Some left jokes like: “I think I’ve had flamingos before, they make a cream for that sort of thing” and “It’s definitely for all the aunts’ cups.”

One happy commenter replied: “Oh I would 100% use them. Another remarked: “Flamingle would have made more sense.” »

Temu has become one of the hottest shopping apps, famous for its great prices that give even the biggest online brands value for their money. China’s digital market has gained global fame through TikTok, where users display their Temu purchases in a series of “this is what I bought and this is what I got” style videos.

The app, pronounced “tee-moo,” first lured shoppers by promising to “shop like a billionaire” during a 30-second ad during this year’s Super Bowl, assuring customers that ‘they would get their products at impossible prices.
