Zendaya’s latest tennis-inspired look was first worn by Cindy Crawford — and the model approved of it!

Crawford originally wore the chic white Ralph Lauren dress to the iconic brand’s 1991 show.

Zendaya’s tennis-inspired style is parading on her Challengers the promotional tour continues with a nod to legendary model Cindy Crawford.

On Sunday, April 14, the 27-year-old superstar posed for promotional photos in Milan, Italy, in a crisp white mini dress and matching white pumps. Crawford, now 58, originally wore the Ralph Lauren dress during the 1991 New York Fashion Week show.

Zendaya’s freshly blonde hair was styled into a bouncy, side-parted bob — similar to how Crawford’s longer locks appeared on the runway in 1991 — and she accessorized with minimal jewelry.

“@Zendaya serves it in one of my favorite @poloralphlauren dresses!” » the model wrote on Instagram Stories alongside a photo of Zendaya’s look.

Over the weekend, Zendaya sported a similar all-white ensemble inspired by American tennis player and golfer Althea Gibson. The outfit consisted of a sleeveless white polo shirt, a high-waisted pleated skirt and white sneakers.

“Earlier today in Monaco! Roach captioned an Instagram post of the look. “A special THANK YOU to the @on running team for recreating Althea Gibson’s ICONIC tennis white.”

Zendaya’s tennis-inspired looks are the latest from her promotional tour-themed attire Challengers, a film directed by Luca Guadagnino in which the actress plays a tennis player turned coach who finds herself in a love triangle. Ahead of the film’s April 16 premiere, Zendaya dominated the red carpets with a slew of athletic-themed outfits.

In Australia, the star turned heads in a shimmering green Jonathan Anderson dress that featured a plunging neckline, dramatic slit and a graphic of a figure hitting a tennis ball with a racket.

During her trip to the Netherlands, Zendaya also debuted the ultimate athleisure-chic look with a custom tank top and sheer skirt with slip from Lacoste (the brand was founded in 1933 by tennis legend René Lacoste, who won seven Grand Slam tournaments throughout his career and showcased lightweight polo on the courts).

The star also paid special attention to accessories. In Paris, she wore a silver pleated dress by Loewe and white stilettos with a neon yellow tennis ball drilled into each heel.

At the film’s UK premiere, which took place at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London, Zendaya stunned in a white collared maxi dress with tiny tennis rackets embroidered all over it. Her hair was styled in a long braid and secured with a white ribbon.
