Couple wanted in north side business robbery caught | News, sports, jobs

Two city residents face charges following a street check this morning.

According to a police report, officers were patrolling the city’s north side near Fulton Street when they saw Michael A. Green, 34, who had active warrants for his arrest for an Oct. 7 robbery. could be prosecuted. A search found Green allegedly in possession of fentanyl.

A short time later, officers reported finding Abigail L. Thompson, 22, of Jamestown, outside a north side business. Thompson was also a suspect in the Oct. 7 robbery, police said, and had active warrants for his arrest. She was charged and taken to the city jail.

Green and Thompson were charged with first-degree robbery, second-degree menacing and petit larceny stemming from their active arrest warrants. Green was also charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Both were held in the city jail until they could be prosecuted.
