Doctor's star sees familiar face in EastEnders story

With eagle eyes EastEnders fans watching too Doctors You may have noticed a familiar face popping up lately.

Joanna Bending has been seen in Albert Square in recent weeks as social worker Jackie Fairhurst as part of Kat Slater and the storyline of her violent son Tommy.

One of the people who noticed her new soap role was Bending’s former co-star Elizabeth Dermot Walshwho played Zara Carmichael Doctors.

“Whoa, back up. Isn’t that @BBCDoctors Dr. Michelle Walton updating on @bbceastenders?” she wrote further Twitter/X during Joanna’s first performance.

During last night’s episode (November 5).Elisabeth posted about her co-star on EastEnders again, joking that she “cheated”. Doctors.

“Can I just say WhatTheActual? Why is @BBCDoctors #DrMichelleWalton back on @bbceastenders??!! This is starting to feel like cheating @jobendy,” she jokes wrote.

“Why I should…,” she said added in a follow-up tweet.

Joanna joined in the fun, respond to Elisabeth’s first message asking: “Are you wearing special glasses?! How did you know it was me?!”

“Obv special glasses”, Elisabeth replied. “Because Jackie Fairhurst looked nothing like Michelle Walton!”

DoctorsThe final episode was originally scheduled to air in December, but has since been pushed back to November 14. The BBC announced last year that the show had been axed due to monetary problems.

The cast recently teased details about the finalestating that the writers had created a storyline involving the entire ensemble cast for a fitting farewell.

EastEnders And Doctors both broadcast on BBC One and streamed on iPlayer.
