Persona 5 Royal Makoto figure is ready to fight

Amakuni has started accepting pre-orders for its upcoming Makoto Niijima figure in his school uniform starting at Persona 5 Royale. The figure will be available for 27,500 yen (~$172.50).

This figure will be 1/7 scale with an overall height of approximately 21 cm (~8.27 inches). The static figure will primarily depict Makoto in her usual Shujin Academy uniform, although it will also include the mask she will use to transform into her Phantom Thief “Queen” outfit.

Amakuni has appointed Hobby Japan as the main distributor of this figure. However, Hobby Japan’s online store can only handle domestic shipping within Japan, with its FAQ page confirming the refusal of overseas orders. People who reside outside of Japan can still place an order for the figure through other outlets that support international shipping, such as AmiAmi.

The company had previously revealed a prototype of the figure during the August 2023 MegaHobby Expo. However, it took another ten months before the Makoto figure was ready for pre-order. The figure of Ann Takamaki in her school uniform will appear earlier around September-October 2024, while the latter’s pre-order window extended to the fourth quarter of 2023.

Amakuni will close the pre-order window for the Persona 5 Royale Makoto Niijima School Uniform Figure on August 14, 2024. The company will ship the finished figures around May-June 2025.
