Owensboro Catholic Football ready to start the redemption run

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – The high school football playoffs begin this Friday in Kentucky, and that means the quest for redemption is about to begin for Owensboro Catholic after last year’s state finals loss.

The Aces have now strung together back-to-back undefeated regular season campaigns, stunning teams with their electric offense. Over the last six games they have outscored their opponents 283 to 15. Head Coach Jason Morris said it was great to see.

“I’m just super excited for the guys. They have put so much work into this program and it has been so much fun to coach,” said Aces Head Coach Jason Morris. “It has been a blessing for me to see them go undefeated in consecutive seasons.”

“It was a great honor to be able to continue playing the regular seasons undefeated. We fell a little short last year, but I think we definitely have our sights set on our end goal,” said Senior Quarterback Brady Atwell.

The Aces will start the playoffs on Friday as they host Crittenden Co.!
