Juvenile caught in crossfire in N. Charleston shooting, police say

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) – North Charleston Police said a juvenile was caught in the crossfire during a shooting between two men Tuesday afternoon.

Officers were called to the Greentree North Apartments around 4:45 p.m. for a shooting that left a young girl injured, police department spokesman Harve Jacobs said.

A preliminary investigation revealed that two men were involved in an argument when they began shooting at each other, and the juvenile was struck by gunfire.

Jacobs said the child was transported by EMS and is currently in stable condition.

He said police did not have a description of the suspects and were still looking for witnesses to the shooting.
