Below Deck Med’s Most Shocking Moments

Below Deck Med’s Most Shocking Moments

When you are sailing on the high seas, it is always possible that you will have to face some shocking moments. Fortunately, Captain Sandy Yawn of Under the Mediterranean Bridge knows exactly how to weather the storm. Throughout the show’s eight seasons, the team has had its fair share of trials and tribulations. But after years of micromanaging, I was curious about which moments were the most dramatic on Below Deck Med.

Paddleboard friends

In a rather embarrassing moment, Nathan Gallagher and a charter guest become stranded after paddleboarding a little too far from the motor yacht Mustique. Guest Laura just wanted to have a great day on the water with an experienced crew member by her side. But shortly after their adventure began, Nathan noted that they had gone “too far.” We flew away. A visual from the Bravo camera is displayed to confirm that they are 300 meters from the yacht.

The strong Greek current is working overtime and against the pair. Eventually, they have to hitch a ride via a passing catamaran, which isn’t very pretty. Furthermore, Captain Sandy was furious. Not only is the skipper a close friend of the charter guest, but she also doesn’t like to be embarrassed. Senior Deckhand Joe Bradley acknowledges the mistake, noting that he should have warned Nathan. As always, Sandy reminds the deck team that they must always keep an eye on the guests.

Don’t wake up Cheffy

During Season 5, Captain Sandy wasted no time telling Chef Tom Checketts to wake up from his nap and chop up some cucumbers. Naturally, the Englishman was not happy. At the time, Tom asked Aesha Scott, “Don’t you have the ability to slice a cucumber?” to which she replied, “It wasn’t my fault.” I’m sorry.” The conversation ended in tears and Sandy intervened.

However, during Season 9, fans were quick to point out how Sandy scolded the stew, Ellie Dubaich, for trying to wake up Chef Johnathan “Jono” Shillingford. The new chef refused to get out of bed to make grilled cheese for the guest, and Ellie thought she was doing the right thing. However, Captain Sandy made it clear that there was a “never wake the boss” policy. On Watch What Happens Live, she noted that Tom’s waking up was because “it was during the day.” It wasn’t evening, it wasn’t at the end of dinner service. This was the service after breakfast. Okay, see you, Sandy.

Hannah pulls

All I’ll remember from that moment is how Hannah Ferrier made sure to leave the boat with a greasy Coca-Cola. This shocking scene stands out for obvious reasons. Captain Sandy discovered that Hannah had brought Valium on board without a prescription, which violated maritime law. Additionally, many viewers felt that Malia White sold out her dorm mate. But personally, I think the captain made the right choice. Also, Hannah was never one of my favorites because she was always pretty mean.

Peter Hunziker scandal

During season 5, an actor became a ghost after being eliminated for his blatant sexism. Peter Hunziker was fired after showing his true colors as a man who only puts himself first. Besides, it didn’t matter who he hurt along the way. Season 5 had an all-female leadership team consisting of Hannah, Captain Sandy, and Malia. The deckhand doesn’t get off to a good start after calling his boss a “darling” and stumbling over his opinions that women can’t run a business like him.

After being fired, Peter’s past discretions came to light and included racist social media posts. In a now-deleted post, Peter shared a photo of a black woman in a compromising sexual position with the caption: “When (B)many men have hurt you your whole life and you decide to date the nice caucasian guy peter from whole foods.” The deckhand commented, “Pretty much.” » Therefore, no love was lost for Peter.

Goodbye Kiko!

Viewers loved Kiko Lorran, but the galley didn’t reciprocate the same emotions. The Wellington was forced to say goodbye to another member of the crew after Captain Sandy fired the leader. The lackluster Las Vegas-inspired dinner was also the man’s downfall. And even though he had a heart of gold, his jubilant personality couldn’t prevent him from receiving a pink pass.

It didn’t help that Captain Sandy was annoyed by Kiko’s lack of organizational skills in the kitchen. The leader also needed a little help with his training skills. Generally, Kiko explained that he was a very positive person, but the captain made him “nervous”. Finally, Kiko agreed to complete the charter, telling the cameras: “I ask myself, ‘Am I a quitter?’ I never stopped. I never stopped. Never quit a job. Never. It’s better that I finish because that’s my personality. And that’s why I decided to stay, even though it hurt so much.
