Trump recommends hot paper on ‘screams before silence’

President Ronald Reagan was more knowledgeable about pop culture than his Republican predecessors. He lived it.

The veteran actor worked in Hollywood for decades before abandoning soundstages for stump speeches.

President Donald Trump enjoys a similar advantage.

He embraced pop culture early and often at his peak in real estate. He worked the talk show circuit and appeared in TV shows and movies (“Home Alone 2: Lost in New York,” “The Little Rascals”) before hitting it big with NBC’s “The Apprentice.” .

Not all Republican politicians can say the same. And this is often seen. Senator Ted Cruz is an exception to this rule.

Now, Trump is backing a powerful new documentary that has been ignored by almost every film critic in the country.

“Screams Before Silence,” available free on its website and on YouTube, allows survivors of the October 7 attacks to share their stories. It’s a harrowing experience that eschews graphic images in favor of raw testimony.

Not only did critics reflexively ignore the film, but Hollywood in general pretended it didn’t exist. No star-studded testimonials demanding the public take a look. No calls from feminist starlets imploring the public to learn what happened on that tragic day.

The documentary “Screams Before Silence” is incredibly difficult to watch because, unfortunately, it graphically depicts the death and destruction unleashed by Hamas. I urge people to support the documentary and watch it, if possible. We demand that all hostages taken in Israel on October 7 and held in Gaza be immediately released, including eight Americans and citizens of more than twenty other countries, so that the war can end.

This is not a typical movie recommendation.

The film’s content belies the pro-Palestinian protesters wreaking havoc across the country. Some of these protesters, like Susan Sarandon, deny that Hamas raped countless women during the terrorist attack.

Others insisted just days after October 7 that Israel should withdraw rather than retaliate for the most savage attack in modern memory.

There is more.

The film has the power to change people’s minds about the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas. Even those who worry about rising civilian casualties in Gaza might change their minds after watching “Screams.”

Trump might see a political advantage in promoting “Screams Before Silence.” TRUE? FAKE? Either way, it’s the right thing to do.
