New Hercules Engine-Inspired Bike Park Railway in Park City, KY

PARK CITY, KY.- City officials are taking time to remember and honor those who have had a tremendous impact on history. The Caveland Environmental Authority partnered with the Geothermal Supply Company to create a bike park designed like the Mammoth Cave Hercules train to honor Caveland Environmental Authority board member Lewis Cutliff.

They honored him and other well-known board members by naming him Ol’ Lewis Engine number five and two other benches dedicated to Ol’ Benny and Ol’ Joe.

Caveland Environmental Authority Managing Director David Peterson tells us why he chose Lewis. He says, “You take someone like Lewis and you give his life to public service, really, with Mammoth Cave, and then you sit on the board for many years. so, Lewis has been a great, great mentor, so I just want to give back a little bit.
