Short films for short nights (28/06-30) – Lounge

Friday June 28, 2024, 7 p.m.

Modern artists have invented new forms of image-making, from photography to glued paper, to gestural painting, and these techniques in turn influence cinema. This program explores images and their surfaces through incised, painted, tinted, cut or glued films. It also includes films that create afterimages in the retina, treating the eye itself as a compositional surface.
