SOS Office Talks with County Officials to Stop Fraudulent Business Claims in Wyoming – Sheridan Media

The Wyoming Secretary of State’s Office recently spoke with county officials about the office’s efforts to take administrative action in cases of false or fraudulent documents filed with the state, as well as Ways the Secretary of State’s Office and county governments can work together to combat business fraud in Wyoming. In May, Secretary of State Chuck Gray and Commercial Division Director Colin Crossman spoke at the Wyoming County Treasurers Association meeting in Saratoga about the Secretary of State’s collaborative efforts to combat business fraud in Wyoming.

Secretary Gray also recently sent a letter to Wyoming County Assessors detailing common instances of fraud and ways county officials can report fraud to the state.
