Suns’ Kevin Durant breaks silence on Houston Rockets trade rumors

It didn’t take long for Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant to break the silence on the trade rumors surrounding his name.

On Tuesday night, the media exploded with possible trades of Durant joining the Houston Rockets in a win-now move. The Suns superstar responded to a fan, who said, “KD, sorry. Look what his reputation is now lol,” less than an hour after the speculation surfaced.

Durant replied: “Well, check the ball then.” The post went viral within minutes and was viewed over a million times. Fans clowned the original post in the comments, praising the striker for not being afraid to speak his mind. The reports were seemingly put aside shortly after by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, who shares the Rockets’ plan to go in a different direction.
