Room WR sold out, Fantasy Sleeper, Justin Herbert, Jim Harbaugh

The Los Angeles Chargers are on pause from offseason activities, at least on the field. The team had a pretty busy offseason, considering team owner Dean Spanos also shuffled his staff off the grid. He hired former University of Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh to replace Brandon Staley and former Baltimore Ravens director of player personnel Joe Hortiz.

Here’s the latest news from Bolts Land.

Joe Hortiz wasted no time getting rid of the Chargers’ top two receivers in 2023, six-time Pro Bowler Keenan Allen and zero-time Pro Bowler Mike Williams. During that time, he bolstered the club’s depth by adding free agent Gus Edwards. Former Pro Bowl quarterback Justin Herbert might now focus differently on offense, as Jim Harbaugh implements a smashmouth offense.

The Los Angeles Chargers under Harbaugh and Hortiz successfully completed their 2024 NFL Draft, making eight selections. One of their later picks could have secret fantasy football value.

This newly acquired Bolt might be the most important new face.

Justin Herbert, who had one of the best rookie seasons of all time, compares unfavorably to a standout new first-year player.

The Bolts’ defense, which has struggled in 2023, is looking at a youthful overhaul.

First-year head coach Harbaugh hopes to turn around a team that finished just 5-12 last year.
