Microsoft faces hefty antitrust fine for unfairly bundling products

Microsoft Corp. could be fined up to 10% of its global annual revenue for violating European Union antitrust laws, Reuters reported. The EU says Microsoft’s bundling of its Team app with its Office product gives it an unfair advantage over its software giant rival. The company had to pay 2.2 billion euros ($2.3 billion) in EU antitrust fines two decades ago for tying two or more products together along with other violations.
