Johnston man faces charges after hidden camera found in his locker room

(West Des Moines, IA) – A Johnston man accused of placing a hidden camera in the dressing room of a West Des Moines Target store.

Blake Devens, 25, was arrested Tuesday after investigators say he placed a digital camera that looked like a pen inside the locker room. The West Des Moines Police Department said Target’s loss prevention team found the device, thinking it was a pen, only to take it apart and discover it was a video and audio recorder.

Devens was arrested and released on bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on July 5.
