A Room to Heal Renovates CNY Ronald McDonald House Game Room

(WIVT/WBGH) – A Room to Heal is helping children on the road to recovery with its latest project.

A Room to Heal partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York to renovate the children’s playroom at the CNY Ronald McDonald House in Syracuse.

The project, which began in late May, was unveiled on June 26. Roome to Heal volunteers spent several weeks renovating the playroom to refresh its design to create a healing space for children.

The room is aquarium themed and aims to create a calming yet fun environment. It also includes interactive sensory elements, such as a bubble wall and play panels, as well as play areas.

The teens’ bedroom has also been refreshed with new paint and a wall mural.
