NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A sweet and curious dog is looking for his forever family. Could it be you?

According to the Nashville Humane Association (NHA), Avocado is 8 years old, weighs about 43 pounds and looks like a Husky.

This beautiful, low-energy dog ​​was recently placed in a foster home, which allowed the shelter to learn a lot about him. For example, he walks well on a leash, loves to be brushed and enjoys sunbathing and sniffing around the great outdoors, so he would do best in a house with a garden. He also loves being petted by his humans and spending quality time together on the couch.

His foster family told the NHA that Avocado had learned to enjoy his cage and seemed under control. However, the shelter mentioned that Avocado is heartworm positive and has special dietary needs.
