Two people have been arrested after police received a cyber tip about child sexual abuse in the area – some videos intentionally including children as young as two years old to get extra money.

Two people have been arrested following a shocking investigation into child sexual abuse – with one allegedly trying to solicit men to have sex with a child.

On June 26, Ashley Crawley, 26, and James Tripp, 29, were arrested after Grovetown police received a Cybertip from the online chat platform “MeetMe.” It provided crucial information that someone in the area was trying to get men to have sex with a child.



According to authorities, the investigation revealed that Crawley allegedly created sexually explicit “content” and sold it online to various apps. Some of the sickening “content” was created with children deliberately present in the videos to get extra money.

Further investigation revealed that Tripp allegedly made plans and asked Crawley’s permission to have sex with one of the children.(WJBF)

Authorities say the youngest of the children is only 2 years old. Further investigation revealed that Tripp allegedly planned and asked Crawley’s permission to have sex with one of the children. Since their arrest, Crawley has been charged with two counts of child molestation and one count of computer or electronic pornography and the Child Exploitation Prevention Act of 2007.

Meanwhile, Tripp has been charged with one count of criminal attempt to commit incest and one count of criminal attempt to commit sexual assault on a minor. Crawley is being held at the Columbia County Detention Center on $60,300 bail while Tripp is also in jail on $50,200 bail.

According to investigators, the children were removed from the home and placed in the care of the Division of Family and Children Services. The investigation is expected to be ongoing and new charges are expected to be filed.

It comes as a middle school teacher was accused of sexually abusing three boys under her care aged 13 to 14, allegedly sending them disgusting Snapchats and committing sexual acts with at least one of them. ‘between them, and more than once.
