Essentra completes share buyback and cancellation

Essentra (EN:ESNT) released an update.

Essentra plc has completed a share buyback, acquiring 11,500 of its own ordinary shares at a uniform price of 159.6 pence per share, with the intention of cancelling them in order to adjust the total number of voting rights available to shareholders. The transaction took place on 1 July 2024 through brokerage firm Peel Hunt LLP, as part of a previously announced share buyback programme. Following the cancellation, the total number of shares in issue by Essentra will be 287,935,744 ordinary shares, excluding treasury shares.
