Aesha Scott Leaves Ship in Shocking Below Deck Med Preview

Aesha Scott has abandoned ship, but she has a good reason for it.

How to watch

Watch Under the Mediterranean Bridge Monday at 9/8c and the next day on Peacock. Find it on the Bravo app.

In a new preview for Under the Mediterranean Bridge In Season 9, Episode 5 (which you can watch above!), Aesha approaches Captain Sandy Yawn to show him an injured finger. “In my experience, when it forms a line like that, it’s usually a sign of infection. And it looks like there’s still glass in there,” she tells her boss as a video of the recent incident plays. In case you missed it, on the last charter, Aesha cut her finger on a broken martini glass.

“Maybe we could just send you ashore, have the glass cut out and package it,” the captain replies, adding in a confessional interview that if Aesha develops an infection and can’t work the next charter, it would be “catastrophic.” Then she lists the exact reasons why.

Captain Sandy Yawn Doesn’t Want to Work a Charter Without Aesha Scott

Aesha is loved by Captain Sandy for many reasons, one of which is her professionalism.

“The deck crew is still finding their feet. We haven’t had the best cruise with the chief. I don’t need my interior falling apart,” Captain Sandy explains while explaining that she doesn’t want Aesha to be put ashore.

That being said, before leaving the ship, Aesha will make contact with her flight attendants.

“If I don’t come back on time, we’ll need welcome drinks, towels,” she explains to Elena Dubaich and Bri Muller.

In a confession, she adds that she is very worried about missing the arrival of the next guests. “We are receiving the guests in three hours,” Aesha explains. “We don’t have much time left to go to a Greek hospital, have the situation examined and return to the boat.”
