Telangana State Legal Services Authority tops the National Lok Adalat-Telangana today

In the settlement of cases in the second and third National Lok Adalats, the Telangana State Legal Services Authority secured the number one position in the country, apart from providing services towards payment of compensation to the litigants.

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Legal Services Authority tops the National Lok Adalat with a record number of cases resolved and providing compensation to victims. National Legal Services Day is celebrated on November 9.

In the settlement of cases in the second and third National Lok Adalats, the Telangana State Legal Services Authority secured the number one position in the country, apart from providing services towards payment of compensation to the litigants.

National Lok Adalats are held four times a year in all states and union territories with the aim of reducing burden on the courts and providing speedy justice to the litigants. Pre-litigation cases and pending civil and criminal cases are also handled here.

Lok Adalats also settles non-registered cases/pre-litigation cases, criminal offences, traffic challenges, revenue cases, bank recovery cases, motorcycle accident claims, check bouncing cases, labor disputes, matrimonial disputes other than divorce cases, land acquisition cases and consumer cases.
