How Biden’s Debate Performance Could Lead to WWIII as China and Russia Emboldened by His ‘Message of Incompetence’

President Joe Biden’s disastrous debate performance and the resulting questions about his competence and advanced age send a “message of incompetence” to America’s most dangerous adversaries, top Republicans say.

Biden’s mumbling and disjointed debate performance raised alarms even among Democrats and liberal pundits who were quick to say the president should consider not running again — something Republicans have long said.

Now, the GOP’s top brass is raising the threat level even further, saying Biden’s mental state is so perilous that China and Russia might seek to strike.

And they say his cabinet should remove him from office through the 25th Amendment process – something that has never been done in history – before World War III breaks out.

US President Joe Biden often spoke weakly and barely used his allotted time to answer complex questions, often stopping with 30 seconds or more to go. He also remained speechless and narrowed-eyed for much of the evening, giving the impression that he was confused.

“The president’s performance sent a dangerous message of incompetence that will further embolden our adversaries,” House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul told DailyMail.com, adding: “The world is already on fire and (the debate) has only made it worse.”

House Speaker Mike Johnson, a Louisiana Republican, also expressed deep concern about the United States’ international position.

“I’m concerned about what our adversaries are seeing,” he said Monday night on Fox News’ Jesse Watters Primetime.

Johnson then made some damage control efforts to ensure that any opponents watching would be deterred from acting after a cacophony of criticism of Biden’s competence.

“We must make sure tonight that one thing is clear: China, Russia, Iran and North Korea must understand that the American military is prepared to act at any time and regardless of any unrest regarding the president.”

“America is strong, we will defend our interests and you don’t have to guess that,” Johnson continued.

And the concerns of the countries mentioned by Johnson may be justified.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has met with the leaders of China, North Korea and Iran over the past seven months.

Johnson said he was concerned about what America’s adversaries think of Biden’s health.

In December 2023, former Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi visited Russia to discuss the war between Israel and Hamas with Putin.

In May, Chinese President Xi Jinping hosted Putin in Beijing for meetings during which the two leaders reached an agreement to “further deepen mutual military trust and cooperation.”

Just two weeks ago, Putin visited North Korea’s supreme leader Kim Jong-un and drove around in cars like classmates. Images of the two Eastern leaders went viral on the Internet, attracting attention.

After their trip, the UN and Putin also signed a military agreement.

It appears that America’s main adversaries have made surprising progress in developing cooperation with each other, posing a clear threat to the United States.

“Yesterday’s debate made it clear to the American people, to our allies and to our adversaries: President Biden is not capable of doing this job,” former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on X the day after the debate.

“This goes beyond politics,” he added. “This is a national security issue.”

Johnson said Biden should be removed from office so the country can respond to these growing threats.

“But in the meantime, the reason we’re talking about the 25th Amendment is because the fourth clause of the 25th Amendment has never been used.”

“It is when the Vice President and a majority of the Cabinet members agree that the President is unfit and unable to continue in office.”

“I think that’s what we’re seeing here,” Johnson said.

And Americans seem to agree with the speaker.

Before the debate, in a June 9 poll, 65% of respondents said Biden did not have the mental capacity to stay in the White House for another four years — but after the debate, that number rose to 72%, according to the CBS News/YouGov survey.

Nearly half (46%) of Biden’s party members do not think he should run for president in 2024.

The president also said Biden was unpredictable, unless he was reading from a teleprompter, and could not be trusted to make presidential-level decisions.

“I don’t think he’s capable of making these big decisions and that’s something that should alarm us all and something we need to talk about.”

“I think people are privately muttering about it. But I think desperate times call for desperate measures, and we may well be in that moment.”
