Ahead of the release of the starrer Singham Again, Rohit Shetty announced the re-release of Singham in theaters. The announcement made fans very happy.

Ajay Devgn’s much-awaited film Singham Again is all set to release in theaters on Diwali. As the release date approaches, anticipation among fans is at an all-time high. Fans are eagerly waiting for this multi-starrer film. Amidst this, Rohit Shetty surprised fans by announcing the re-release of Singham.

On his Instagram, Rohit Shetty announced the re-release of Singham before Singham Again. He shared a motion poster of the film featuring Ajay Devgn in the lead role. He mentioned that the film will be re-released in theaters on October 18th. Sharing the announcement, the director wrote, “BEFORE HE COMES IN HIS FULL STRENGTH ON DIWALI! Experience how it all started again, Experience the dough again, Experience the euphoria again, Experience SINGHAM once again before SINGHAM AGAIN! Re-release in theaters on October 18th.”

Released a week after Dusshera, Singham will be re-released in theaters two weeks before Singham Again hits the screens. Directed by Shetty, the film was originally released in 2011. It starred Ajay Devgn, Prakash Raj and Kajal Aggarwal in lead roles. It was shot on a budget of Rs 40 million and collected Rs 141 million at the box office. Singham’s success led Shetty to create his Cop Universe and launch two spin-offs: Simmba and Sooryavanshi. Simmba starred Ranveer Singh, while Sooryavanshi starred Akshay Kumar.

Singham Again is a sequel to Singham and is part of Shetty’s detective universe. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar and Arjun Kapoor in lead roles. It will clash with Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 at the box office. Trade analysts expect both films to gross a lot of money at the box office.
