Carmel Christkindlmarkt announces 2024 mug designs

The Carmel Christkindlmarkt has unveiled the 2024 design of the market’s iconic boot-shaped mug. This year, the mug will be royal blue, with a snow-white interior.

In addition to its new color, this year’s mug features a heart-shaped handle for the first time. The mug retains the traditional scene of delicate snowflakes, views of the Palladium, skaters on the Carter Green ice, and the Mulled Wine Pyramid, one of the market’s iconic landmarks and the first pyramid of its kind in the United States.

“Since the first Christkindlmarkt in 2017, mulled wine mugs have become extremely popular,” said Managing Director Maria Adele Rosenfeld. “They are a treasured keepsake for many collectors and families. This year’s rich blue and white colours help evoke the wonder and magical feeling of the market, and the heart-shaped handle represents the love our visitors have for this event.”

These collectible mugs will be available for purchase onsite at the Market for $6 each, while supplies last. They cannot be purchased online, but can be purchased in advance when registering for Glühwein Gallop.

The cups can be purchased at various stalls in the market, with or without a drink.
