Selena Gomez Makes Embarrassing Diddy Slip During Charity Event: ‘I’m Really Sorry’

The internet cannot calm down Selena Gomez latest gadget.

The 32-year-old made a mistake when she took the stage Rare Impact Fund benefit on Thursday.

During her speech at the event, Gomez shouted out many charities, including the Didi Hirsch Mental Health Care (DHMS)that helps prevent suicide among young people.

“They are committed to youth mental health, from suicide prevention training in schools to their drop-in center here in LA and their Teen Line lifeline,” the singer said, per a. video obtained by TMZ. “I am deeply honored to work with such incredible changemakers.”

The second annual benefit was held to raise money for organizations focused on providing mental health care to youth.

Gomez then introduced DHMS Executive Director “Didi” – pronounced “dee-dee” – whom she called instead accidentally called ‘Diddy’. The audience burst into laughter at her slip of the tongue.

The Disney alum addressed the room after her mistake, telling them, “I’m truly sorry.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs continues to make headlines amid his ongoing legal battle. The disgraced rapper was arrested last month in Manhattan. Combs, 54, is accused of abusing, threatening and coercing women “to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation and conceal his conduct,” according to the 14-page indictment released after his arrest.

He has pleaded not guilty to several charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Combs has that too hit by several civil lawsuits for assault and rape. A recent suit claims the former mogul drugged and raped a 13-year-old girl along with two other celebrities after the 2000 VMAs.

He was first accused of a years-long pattern of domestic and sexual violence — and even human trafficking — by his ex-girlfriend, R&B singer Cassie Ventura, in a lawsuit she filed against him last November. they settled out of court.
